Kiesel FTF06 Open Throat Eccentric Screw Pumps

Purpose-built to sit low and out of the way, the Kiesel FTF06 Open Throat pump is a flat mash eccentric screw pump designed specifically for installation directly beneath a de-stemmer, rasp or mill; taking must straight off the crusher-destemmer without an extra hopper or handling step in between. Its compact, low-profile, manoeuvrable design was engineered around the limited headroom typical under this kind of equipment, so it fits where a standard pump body simply won't.

The "open throat" name comes from its large rectangular hopper opening and integrated feed screw, purpose-built to receive destemmed and stemmed grape must along with a high proportion of whole grapes, a genuinely different job to a standard transfer pump with a threaded inlet. Behind that open inlet, it's the same proven Kiesel eccentric screw technology: encapsulated, wear-free joints, an oversized rotor and stator for its size class, and the same gentle, near pulsation-free, self-priming positive displacement conveyance that protects fruit and juice integrity through the receival stage.

Because the rotor/stator diameters are large relative to the pump's footprint, the FTF06 range gently handles homogeneous, viscous mash even at higher flow rates, a real advantage during a busy crush when volume and product care both matter. Available with a range of drive options including variable speed, and configurable with optional run-dry protection and level control for safer, more automated receival-line operation.
