Hydropress System - 80L with S/S cage
Hydropress System - 80L with S/S cage
A straightforward and highly efficient way to extract juice from apples, pears, berries, or grapes for juice, wine, or cider production.
It can also be used as a cheese press or for pressing honeycomb.
High-Quality Construction:
The water-powered press is manufactured from food-grade stainless steel, making it resistant to rust and corrosion, and easy to wash and wipe down after use.
It features three stable steel legs and is best used outdoors, where any fruit or juice spills can be easily hosed away.
No Electricity Required:
This hydraulic juicer uses mains water pressure to generate pressing force for juice, wine, and cheese making. It is energy-efficient, compact, and simple to operate. If pressure exceeds safe limits, it automatically releases, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Often referred to as a bladder press, the unit operates by inflating a rubber bladder using household water pressure supplied through a standard garden hose. With the bladder positioned in the centre of the press, fruit or grapes are compressed evenly from the inside out, even when the basket is only partially filled. This method provides a larger pressing surface area, resulting in more efficient juice extraction.
Traditional top-down hydraulic presses can trap juice and cause blockages within the pulp, whereas the hydropress avoids these issues. For this reason, hydropresses are widely used in commercial wineries as one of the most effective non-electric extraction methods available.
Using standard mains water pressure of 2.5 to 3 bar, the press can generate approximately 20 tonnes of pressing force. Both the pressure level and pressing time can be easily controlled by opening or closing the water tap.
