Gas Operated Puncheon Spear - RJT Male
Gas Operated Puncheon Spear - RJT Male
A high-flow cellar tool designed for efficient and controlled wine transfer directly from puncheons.
Engineered for reliability and ease of use, it allows wineries to rack or decant wine quickly while maintaining precise control over flow and pressure.
The spear features an integrated gas inlet and exhaust system that uses regulated pressure to drive wine from the puncheon. This provides a consistent and controlled transfer while minimising disturbance to lees. A built-in butterfly valve and sight glass allow the operator to monitor product flow and clarity during transfer.
A positive locking mechanism secures the spear firmly in the puncheon bung hole, distributing weight across the puncheon head and ensuring safe operation. The integrated foot spike allows the spear to be positioned accurately for racking above the lees layer, helping to maximise yield while maintaining wine quality.
With high flow capability and simple operation, the Gas Operated Puncheon Spear is ideal for wineries looking to improve efficiency during puncheon transfers and cellar operations.
