Manufactured from open-cell polyurethane foam, it maintains consistent contact with the internal pipe wall while travelling smoothly through stainless steel and food-grade polymer tubing.

Sponge ball pigs are commonly used for recovering residual wine, beer or cleaning solutions, separating products during changeovers, and flushing lines after cleaning or sanitising. The non-abrasive structure makes this pig suitable for frequent use without risk of pipe or hose damage.

This style of pig is ideal for flexible hoses, short transfer runs and systems where gentle wiping and recovery are required rather than scale removal.
