YOKOGAWA AXG050 2" Magnetic Flow Meter

The Yokogawa ADMAG AXG050 is a 50 mm (2") magnetic flowmeter designed for accurate and reliable measurement of conductive liquids across demanding industrial process applications.

Part of Yokogawa's ADMAG Total Insight range, the AXG series combines Yokogawa's proprietary dual-frequency excitation technology with advanced diagnostic and monitoring functions to provide stable flow measurement, including applications where flow noise, air bubbles, slurry or changing process conditions can affect measurement performance.

The AXG050 is suitable for a broad range of industrial applications including food and beverage, chemical processing, pulp and paper, metals and mining, and other process industries. The AXG series is designed with a focus on measurement stability, ease of operation and preventative maintenance.

Yokogawa's dual-frequency excitation method combines the advantages of low-frequency excitation for stable zero-point measurement with high-frequency excitation for improved noise resistance and fast response. The AXG can achieve a response time of 0.1 seconds while maintaining stable measurement performance.

The instrument also incorporates a range of diagnostic functions, including electrode adhesion detection, sensor empty detection, low-conductivity diagnosis, flow-noise diagnosis, electrode insulation deterioration diagnosis and wiring connection diagnosis.

The AXG050 is available in different configurations to suit individual process requirements. Depending on the specified configuration, options include integral or remote construction, different lining and electrode materials, process connections and communication protocols.
